Refine and Launch
Focus on launch, customer conversations, distribution, and traction.

High-performing products demonstrating strong traction may unlock additional API credits and continued support.

Can teams apply?
The program is optimized for solo founders.
Do I need an idea before applying?
No.
You can apply with: a strong problem area, a rough concept, or an idea you want to validate during the sprint.
What kind of products are encouraged?
We’re looking for products that solve real problems people care about.
Examples: SaaS products, AI workflows/tools, internal business tooling, developer tools, productivity software, automation products, consumer utilities, services-powered software.
Crypto/token launches, speculative financial products, and spam-style growth projects are not a fit for this program.
Is revenue required?
No.
The goal is to build and validate meaningful products. However, strong traction and real customer usage stand a chance for additional support and credits.
What counts as traction?
Examples include: paying customers, active users, pre-sales, etc.
What do selected founders receive?
Selected founders receive: 1 month of ChatGPT Pro, starter API credits, mentorship and founder support, launch/distribution support, and an opportunity for additional support based on traction.
Is this an official OpenAI accelerator?
No.
This is a community-led program for Codex.
Is the fellowship in person or digital?
It’s fully virtual and happens on Telegram.
Do I need to build in public?
It is strongly encouraged.
Builders are encouraged to share: progress, learnings, and how they’re using Codex in their workflow.
Will all founders receive additional credits?
No.
Additional credits/support are allocated selectively based on traction, product quality, meaningful usage, and overall progress.
